SCRIP is a great program that earns money for our school at no cost to you. Just buy prepaid gift cards and shop as usual. We pre-purchase gift cards at a discount and sell them to you for face value.

Take Charge of Education, launched in April 1997, brings the Target tradition of giving to the heart of our communities. Since the program was launched, Target has donated over $154 million through fundraising dollars. Through the Take Charge of Education program, Target donates an equal amount to 1% of REDcard (Target Visa and Target Card) purchases made at Target and Target.com, and l/2% of Target Visa purchases made elsewhere, to Friends of Castle Heights. For some schools that is over $14,000 per year!

For example:

We purchase a $10.00 Blockbuster certificate at a discount of 5%.
You purchase the card for $10.00 and we retain the profit to provide services at Castle Heights.

Gift cards are great for birthday gifts, teacher appreciation gifts, holiday gifts, and everyday shopping. You can purchase certificates before and after school at the "Friends Table" in front of school, or call Tina Teodorescu @ (310) 876-7676, or Julia Sak Gearhart @ (310) 558-4461.
